1st Tip

Here are a couple of pointers that I learned for composing a shoot.

Check your background-make sure there are no destructing objects behind or beside your subject i.e; trash can, people's behind, and specially those bikini clad bodies when shooting at the beach. Hate seeing a great kid family picture then notice a bare midriff, legs or cleavage from behind.

Don't cut at the joint- make a point that you don't cut your subject right at the joint. It makes them look amputated.

I'm very much a beginner and these are some tips that I almost always forget.
